Adam is out to break boundaries, and change the face of pop!
Born into a Jewish family in Indiana, US in 1982, Adam left school after impressing as a singer and actor to persue a stage theatre career, appearing in many local shows, including one with Val Kilmer.
In 2009 he came second to Kris Allen in American Idol, wowing the judges with performances of many rock classics including Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. During the show it emerged that Adam was openly gay, and after the show he signed to RCA, making him the first gay artist to sign to a major mainstream US label.
On his debut album, Adam has worked with a wide range of artists to create an eclectic sound, including Matthew Bellamy of Muse, Lady Gaga and Sam Sparro.
His debut single ‘For Your Entertainment is out at the end of April
