About
Kent is responsible for internal and external financial reporting, covering areas such as management accounts, statutory financial statements, tax filings, budget setting and forecasts. He also has responsibility for ensuring that appropriate financial information, controls, policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to. In addition, Kent will be managing and developing financial models to enhance the financial reporting function as well as driving efficiency savings and improvement initiatives.
Kent is also a member of the Mercia O2 Committee – offering the benefits of diverse opinions, ideas and points of view.
Previous Experience
Kent qualified as a Chartered Accountant in private practice before moving into financial accounting roles within industry. Kent has previous experience working within head office functions with particular expertise in implementing new systems, improving group reporting and strengthening financial reporting processes.
