Ceri joined Mercia in 2015 as Group Financial Controller, moving to her current role in 2021, reporting to Mercia’s Chief Operating Officer and facilitating the Fund Coordination team in their aim to deliver exceptional support to Mercia’s investment teams, excellent service to the portfolio companies in which they invest, and high-quality fund reporting to Mercia’s clients. She collaborates with Mercia’s Managing Directors and Fund Principals, and across Operations and Investment teams, with a focus on efficient working practices, system improvements and standardised, streamlined processes. Ceri is based at Mercia’s Henley-in-Arden office.
Previous experience
Ceri is a PwC trained chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience working in operational audit, finance manager and financial controller roles, predominantly within listed businesses operating in the software and manufacturing sectors, having completed a joint honours degree in French and Management Science at Keele University prior to joining PwC. Particular areas of expertise include developing finance policies, procedures and processes, and implementing robust internal controls.
