Joining the Manchester office as Digital Content Manager under the guidance of Head of Marketing and Communications, Alison Dwyer, Lee manages Mercia’s digital and content strategy. Lee is also a member of the Mercia O2 Committee – offering the benefits of diverse opinions, ideas and points of view.
Lee has vast experience and knowledge in content production and ideation. He began his career as an editor with Manchester’s Channel M TV station, before producing content around the globe for World Rugby; culminating in reporting at the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand. A move to Manchester City Football Club in 2011 saw Lee take on some of the club’s most ambitious and ground-breaking digital campaigns, initiatives and projects to date. A move down the M62 in 2018 to Liverpool Football Club saw his work being industry recognised when the Digital team won the ‘Best in Football Media’ award at the Football Business Awards in 2019.
