Dr Ryan Cawood, who founded OXGENE, raised £750,000 from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II, via Mercia Ventures, for his latest business, Lab Thread.
Ryan previously founded OXGENE in 2011 which was also backed by Mercia, and became one of the UK’s fastest growing companies before its sale to WuXi Advanced Therapies for $135m in 2021.
We sat down woth Ryan to hear about his new venture with Lab Thread.
