CorrosionRADAR | Interview with CEO Dr. Chiraz Ennaceur

CorrosionRADAR is a spin-out of Cranfield University and is based in Cambridge. It recently took funding led by Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures in a Series A round, with support from the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF), Mercia’s EIS funds and angel investors.

Its innovative sensing technology addresses a major challenge for oil, gas and chemical companies – how to detect corrosion under insulation in pipelines, tanks and other vessels.

Its CEO, Dr. Chiraz Ennaceur speaks openly about how its technology not only detects early signs of corrosion but allows early repairs to be undertaken and significantly helps to minimise risk of catastrophic failures across the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.

Tunisian-born Chiraz, also speaks candidly about her very successful career to date, and how she thinks collaboration is a must amongst clean tech companies in reaching the net zero goal.
