About
Chris joined Mercia in 2023 as an Investment Director with the Mercia Equity Team. He is focussed on the origination and execution of early-stage deals in high-growth innovative companies as well as ongoing support for the existing portfolio.
Previous Experience
Chris previously worked with the Boston Consulting Group’s corporate venturing arm which involved inventing, building and investing in new start-ups with the world’s most influential companies. Chris was involved in building five new businesses across APAC and most recently went on to run Flip Insurance – a disruptive Insurtech backed by HCF Group. Chris co-founded the Australian Chapter of Leaders For Climate Action and has worked as a mentor to start-up founders in Australia, Europe, and Africa.
With a background in Data Science and a Masters degree in Physics, Chris has a passion for science, technology and their application to the biggest problems in the world worth solving.
