Dimitris joined the Group in 2024, and has over eight year’s venture capital experience investing across both corporate and financial VCs. He is involved in identifying new investment opportunities, completing transactions and supporting Mercia’s portfolio companies, with a focus on the Life Sciences and DeepTech sectors.
Previous experience
Dimitris has over 20 years’ experience in the technology space, with hands-on experience in driving commercial and technology innovation across the telecommunications sector, gained through a wide variety of operational and strategic roles in mobile, fixed, and satellite operators Vodafone, Colt, and Inmarsat. He has also worked as an advisor to the technology industry at leading management consultancies BearingPoint and Monitor Deloitte. He understands what it takes for a technology start-up to succeed in the enterprise space from a product and a commercial perspective, which he applies both during the investment identification process and in the subsequent post-investment scaling phase. He has an M.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from London Business School.
