About
Rafael is an Investment Manager for Mercia’s EIS Fund with a focus on investing in early and growth-stage technology companies. Based in the South-West, Rafael’s role includes portfolio support, deal origination and execution.
Previous experience
Prior to joining Mercia, Rafael worked at Development Bank of Wales, focussing on making equity investments into early stage technology companies.
Rafael spent five years as part of the Deal Advisory team at KPMG, advising on the buying and selling of companies. He also worked for a managed services and cloud computing company, supporting them with their buy and build acquisition strategy.
Rafael has a degree in Economics from Warwick University and is a Chartered Accountant.
